About TinyStart

TinyStart is a lightweight focus app built around a simple flow:

• Enter the task you want to do by typing or voice
• Choose the length of your timer
• Tap Start
• Receive a completion notification when the session ends

Apple Watch support

TinyStart is compatible with Apple Watch. To use it on Apple Watch, the watch app must be installed on your watch. Some experiences may depend on Apple’s app mirroring behavior where supported by the system.

Why is the microphone permission needed?

TinyStart can optionally use your microphone and speech-related system features so you can speak your task instead of typing it manually.

If you do not want to grant microphone access, you can still use TinyStart by entering your task with the keyboard.

Why are notifications needed?

Notifications allow TinyStart to remind you when your timer or focus session has finished. If notifications are disabled, the timer can still run, but you may not receive an alert at the end of the session.

Troubleshooting

• If voice input does not work, check your microphone and speech-related permissions in the Settings app.
• If you do not receive timer completion alerts, make sure notifications are enabled for TinyStart.
• If Apple Watch features are unavailable, confirm that the TinyStart watch app is installed on your watch.
• If app mirroring is not behaving as expected, check your Apple device and watch software settings.
