TinyStart helps users focus on one task at a time by letting them type or speak a task, set a timer, and receive a completion alert. TinyStart is designed to keep user data on the user’s own device(s).
No account required No server-side storage Data stays on your device Microphone access (optional) Notifications (optional)

Overview

TinyStart is a simple focus timer app. Users can enter a task by typing or by using voice input, choose a timer length, and start a session. When the timer ends, the app can send a local notification.

TinyStart is also compatible with Apple Watch. Apple Watch use requires the watch app to be installed on the user’s watch, and some experiences may rely on Apple system app mirroring behavior where supported.

No account required

TinyStart does not require users to create an account, sign in, or provide account-based profile information in order to use the app.

What TinyStart stores

TinyStart does not store user data on our servers.

Tasks, timer settings, session state, and similar app data are stored only on the user’s own device or personal Apple devices as needed for the app to function.

Microphone and voice input

Microphone and speech-related access are optional and are requested only if the user chooses to use voice input. Users can always type their task manually instead.

TinyStart does not require microphone access for its core manual task entry and timer features.

Notifications

TinyStart may request notification permission so the app can alert users when a timer or session has completed. Notifications are optional and can be turned off in device settings.

Apple Watch and device-to-device behavior

When TinyStart is used with Apple Watch, app state may be shared between the user’s own Apple devices through Apple system frameworks in order to support the watch experience and app mirroring behavior where available.

TinyStart does not use this functionality to store user data on our external servers.

Server storage and data collection

TinyStart does not maintain a user account database and does not store task content, timer history, or session data on our servers.

We do not claim ownership of user-entered tasks or session content.

Analytics, tracking, and advertising

TinyStart does not sell user data. TinyStart is not designed as a third-party advertising app.

If analytics, tracking, or additional third-party services are introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

User choices

  • Users can type tasks instead of using voice input.
  • Users can decline microphone or speech-related permissions and still use core features manually.
  • Users can disable notifications in device settings.
  • Users can stop using Apple Watch features by uninstalling the watch app or adjusting device settings.

Children’s privacy

TinyStart is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
